Many of us have been touched or impacted by addiction. Either personally or with someone we care about. It can also be a topic many are uncomfortable talking openly about. If it’s something someone is personally struggling with, they often don’t want to admit it and they certainly don’t want it to impact their job, family or social standing. If it touches your friend or loved one, you want to be respectful of someone’s privacy.
United Madison is bringing addiction to light and we are working to help remove the stereotype and stigma of addiction, to provide guidance and resources for those who struggle with an addiction and for those who love them.
Starting May 1, 2020 through the end of the year, United Madison is teaming up with local organizations to get important information into the general public through Public Service Announcements (PSA) that will air on our local broadcast media (TV, Radio), through social media and digital advertising.
Each PSA will provide people with local resources through unitedmadison.com/addiction
We are producing 3x :60 second, 3x :30 second and 3x :15 second Public Service Announcements on the following:
YOUR DONATION IS REQUESTED
We are seeking donations to help this campaign reach hundreds of thousands of people while working with our media partners to make the message go significantly further. Think of it as “crowd sourcing” for a very important cause – and rather than individual organizations working independently with their own unique goals, this Addiction Awareness campaign is specifically designed to educate the public and give them tools they can use so they are equipped to help themselves or support friends and family. Please make this a priority. Click the button below to donate.
