WHO RECEIVES THE GRANTS:

United Madison Christian Givers provides three grants each quarter to eligible Christian non-profits in Dane County.

WHAT IS PROVIDED:

A Grant of up to $10,000 is provided to each of the three Christian non-profits out of six finalists.  Those who do not receive a grant will be given $1000.  Grant recipients will be assigned a mentor liaison to provide them with guidance and support. They may also be included as an "agency partner" with Families Connect WI to support those we serve.

HOW GRANT WINNERS ARE SELECTED:

Grant applicants are carefully vetted by the UMCG Board of Directors. Eligible applicants will be voted on by member/donors.  Members will review and vote on six grant applicants who will make presentations at the quarterly meeting.  Members will listen to presentations by the six finalists and vote for the top three.

WHEN & WHERE GRANTS ARE PROVIDED:

Grants are provided quarterly to Dane County Christian non-profits.

WHY DO WE DO THIS:

Many grant opportunities do not fund faith based organizations.  It can be very difficult for Christian non-profits to fulfill God's calling without the financial means to carry it out.  At United Madison Christian Givers, we vet, guide and often provide the "seed" money needed to get a vision off the ground.

REQUIRED REPORTING:

Grant Outcomes Repo

Any Ministry Partner who has received a grant in the prior timeframe, is required to complete a GRANT OUTCOMES REPORT. This is also required in order to apply for a new grant.

HOW GRANTS ARE FUNDED:

The grants are funded by donors/members who make a financial commitment to support the UMCG mission. â€‹
