DownloadBig Brothers, Big Sisters of Dane County takes a vested interest in the youth of the community. They believe that being matched with a Big Brother or Big Sister can help youth navigate challenges and reach their potential.
The Boys and Girls Club of Dane County works tirelessly with local businesses, foundations, and community programs to produce positive outcomes for nearly 7,500 young people and their families. They seek to inspire and empower.

Lighthouse Christian Church and School loves its community and commit themselves to spreading the message of love, justice, equity, and inclusion. Through their ministry and mentorship, they are able to reach a diverse audience.
Mentoring Positives is an innovative, referral-based mentoring program that works directly with kids and families throughout Dane County and its surrounding areas. They offers a range of positive programs for area youth.
One City works hard to break the cycle of longstanding achievement and opportunity gaps and create a new system of public education that effectively prepares youth to tackle today’s challenges, solve tomorrow’s greatest problems, and lead successful, happy and enriching lives
Operation Fresh Start provides a path forward for disconnected youth in Dane County, ages 16-24, through education, mentoring, and employment training. Their programs offer youth and young adults opportunities to gain meaningful, supported work experience.
The Urban League of Greater Madison's mission is to ensure that African Americans and other community members are educated, employed and empowered to live well, advance professionally and contribute to the common good in the 21st Century.

As scholars, writers, and parents who use books to connect with our children and spark conversations with them, we’ve developed this book list to help engage the broad range of emotions and needs of diverse children in our multiracial society.
A fund organized by Madison 365, Maydm, The Madison Black Chamber of Commerce, the Urban League of Greater Madison, and the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County.
The Black Enterprise Fund will empower the Black community of Madison and Dane County through funding five dynamic, successful, enterprise-building, Black-led nonprofit organizations. These organizations serve youth, entrepreneurs, job-seekers, young professionals, and the community at large. Funds gathered in this campaign will be divided equally among these organizations and provide sustainability for their ongoing work to engage and empower Black families and communities.
